What to do if the edge of Wuhan bamboo and wood fiber decorative panel is raised

Bamboo and wood fiber decorative panels, as an environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing decorative material, are increasingly favored by people. However, during use, there may be situations where the edges are raised, which affects the overall aesthetics. So, how should we solve the problem of raised edges of Wuhan bamboo and wood fiber decorative panels?

Firstly, we need to understand the reasons for the raised edges of bamboo and wood fiber decorative panels. Perhaps due to improper handling of the base layer during installation, the bonding between the decorative panel and the base layer is not firm; Alternatively, due to factors such as temperature differences and humidity, the decorative panel may shrink and expand, leading to edge warping.

We can take the following measures to address these issues:

1、 For cases of improper handling of the base layer during installation, we need to recheck the flatness and dryness of the base layer. Ensure that the base layer is flat, dry, and free of oil stains, so that the decorative panel can be firmly adhered to it. If there are problems at the grassroots level, they need to be dealt with in a timely manner, such as filling gaps, polishing and leveling.

2、 We can slow down the shrinkage and expansion of the decorative panel by adjusting the indoor temperature and humidity for problems caused by temperature differences and humidity effects. In dry seasons, indoor humidity can be appropriately increased; In humid seasons, indoor humidity can be appropriately reduced. At the same time, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or humid environments to reduce the impact on the decorative panel.

3、 If the situation of edge warping is severe, we can consider using specialized tools for handling. For example, a hot air gun can be used to heat the raised parts, soften them, and then re stick them onto the base layer; Alternatively, adhesive can be used for pasting and fixing. It should be noted that caution should be exercised during maintenance to avoid causing greater damage to the decorative panel.
